Best Western Plus Vancouver Airport Hotel

Room was cold and could not find thermostat. It was not explained to me . Otherwise staff was great .

The rooms were clean, spacious, and the location near the airport is very convenient. The shuttle service was also excellent and reliable. However, the property has significant accessibility and parking challenges. There is no adequate parking at the front of the building. To park in the back, you are forced to either carry your luggage down stairs or haul it along the public street sidewalk. It is not an accessible setup for anyone with heavy bags or mobility needs.

The bed was comfortable. The window could be opened for fresh air.

Front desk staff were consistently terrible. No positive greeting or welcome. No sense they cared whatsoever that you were there. The exception was Anastasia, who was nice. The room had a dirty sock on the floor and other dirty areas. Room was small and cramped. Elevator lurched and made strange noises. Parking not secure and inaccessible. Very unpleasant aura throughout the hotel. Exorbitant cost for this poor stay.

The Best Western Plus Vancouver Airport Hotel was fine for a short airport stay, but nothing particularly memorable. The biggest positives were the convenient location near the airport and the shuttle service, which made travel very easy. The bed was also comfortable, which was appreciated after a long day of travel. Overall, though, the hotel felt more like simply a place to sleep for the night rather than a destination or especially enjoyable stay. It served its purpose, but I would describe it as average overall.

What I did not particularly like was that the hotel felt dated and lacked the overall atmosphere, comfort, and quality that would make the stay feel enjoyable beyond simply having a place to sleep for the night.
