This hotel set up $1,000 cd rates last fall to price gouge for FIFA. Since the crowds didn’t materialize, the rates are now under $300cd. The hotel refuses adjust our rate. It’s a disgrace.

Solides Frühstück, saubere Zimmer und bequeme Betten

Die Lage ist schon heftig, man fährt Richtung Downtown locker 15 min durch das Drogenviertel Vancouvers. Auch wenn man es nur durch den Bus sieht, macht das was mit dem Urlaubsgefühl. Wir würden das nächste Mal dann doch mehr Geld zahlen und Downtown wohnen.

Location was the main issue. There were a few restaurants and such a short walk down the Main Street. However, the street is very busy and it’s not somewhere I would want to spend anytime out and about after sunset. The thermostat in our room seemed to constantly set to a higher temp so we slept like garbage, room was too warm and we could not fix it. Prepare to sleep warm.
