Days Inn by Wyndham Fremont

Pros: 1. Cheap 2. Hot water, power and A/C available 3. Free parking Cons: 1. Dirty beddings 2. Very dirty floor 3. Bedbugs 4. Rusty smell of water. Couldn’t rinse mouth and wash hair. 5. Nothing much to eat out of their free breakfast. Went out to McDonalds for a quick breakfast. 6. Pet fee is publicized $15 on Hotels.com but they charged $25. This is a matter of honesty and credibility.

The pictures online are inaccurate. The hotel is dirty and the rooms have no furniture. Curtains were falling down, there was no coffee maker or hairdryer, and the linens smelled dirty. Will never return and would advise all to stay at another hotel in the area.

We would not even stay there for the night!! The lobby was run down. It smelled of smoke! Even our smoke free room wreak of cigarette smoke! The halls had piles of laundry and litter! The office clerk was very hard to understand. We tried to get a refund but they were unable to do this for us! Needless to say we were very disappointed! We left there and went down the road to the Holiday Express!

No Jacuzzi, yet advertised, and no milk for breakfast or much of anything for breakfast, so we only attempted to eat there the first day! Housekeeping tried to come into my room, and the only reason they didn’t was because the door was chained so they couldn’t come in! Over half the hotel had mattresses that looked like they had been pulled out of the rooms just laying in parts of the hotel and the rest outside the window where we stayed! Garbage was every day we were there (five days) left out in the hallway 24 hours a day I guess from when they cleaned various rooms! The room was I’m not exaggerating 80 to 85 when we got there in the evening even though we had pre-booked our hotel stay so they knew we were coming! We left the room for over two hours that night and when we came back, even though we had the setting of air on high, it was still uncomfortable! We are certainly not picky people, and I’ve never even given a review before, but this hotel is not what the website on hotels.com shows it to be! Obviously, we would never stay there again, even though we go to Ohio to the same area for a week each year! The staff in housekeeping and people running the hotel were friendly, and I almost didn’t write this review because of it, but that was the only positive of our stay!

No breakfast, Dirty

Bathroom was dirty. Advertised breakfast was only toast, cereal and waffles. Staff was trying to be helpful but struggled to check us in for 20 minutes or so.

Nothing anenities

Trash can outside was never emptied and spilling onto the sidewalk, gutter was laying on the ground. No elevator, so good luck to anyone handicapped. Sheets were some kind of polyester. Breakfast area was tarped off with plastic and mattresses were piled up in stairwells. Foreign-only staff was friendly enough, those that spoke english. I won’t ever stay here again and if had been advertised honestly, I wouldn’t have. 0 stars.

The staff member at the front desk was kind and helpful, which we appreciated. However, the overall condition of the hotel left much to be desired. It appears they may be undergoing renovations, as there were items and equipment scattered throughout the property. In its current state, the hotel would benefit from temporarily closing to properly complete renovations and organize the space. There were several concerns that made the stay uncomfortable. Some staff members appeared to be living on-site, and children who seemed to be related to the staff were frequently in the lobby, treating it more like a living room. We noticed laundry being done in common areas via security cameras, with staff folding linens alongside a dog in the laundry room. The cleanliness was a major issue. The pool had visible stains on the walls, trash, and personal items left behind. The hot tub was out of order, which is understandable, but this should have been communicated in advance and more clearly marked off. We were informed we’d be charged for any stains on the bedding due to it being new — understandable, but it also raised concerns about whether linens are regularly cleaned. Our room had stained walls, dirty floors, and a bathroom that was not properly sanitized. The tap water also had a strong fishy odor. Overall, while the staff seemed friendly, the hotel does not currently meet basic cleanliness and hospitality standards. I would not recommend staying here until significant improvements

Place was very dirty! Staff was rude. Rooms had an odor. Breakfast was either a waffle or cereal, that’s it. The pool and spa was under construction. Shower was dirty and had mold in the drain. I will NEVER stay there again and don’t recommend to anyone!
