Friendly host and a quick check in. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, and had everything you could need as well as being close to train stations, stores, attractions and restaurants.

The apartment was in a wonderful location around all the lovely narrow cobble streets. It had all amenities within walking distance bus station, train station and shops. The apartment had everything we required and with all the doors open had a lovely breeze blowing through.

This is not really a negative, but as the apartment was on the top floor with narrow stairs and no lift it wouldn’t be ideal for anyone with mobility issues. Also if all the doors were closed the bedroom was very hot and the fan didn’t really provide enough cool air in the bedroom, so it could benefit from the air conditioning unit nearer the bedroom.

The a/c unit doesn't cool the apartment, despite its tiny dimensions. To ensure some sleep we had to move the mattress from slleping room right under the a/c unit, in front of the toilet door. Its a pity, that we read the reviews after booking was done. And when we tried to contact the owner, asking to provide any additional cooling, she answered she isn't informed of any problems. As I understand - she doesn't read the reviews 😔 One more issue - the stairs. The flat is at the top floor. There's no lift, so you have to walk along quite narrow stairs. I do not recommend the apartment, if there's more than +20°C on the street, or if you feel difficult to walk up/downstairs.

We liked the relative quiet we experienced in a busy part of town. We liked the washer/dryer. Everything worked well in the apartment. The apartment was roomy and well priced.

There was only one thing we didn't like, that was the stairs. There were 65 steps winding up to our apartment. We are both in our 70s and we had heavy bags. This was an unpleasant surprise. My wife, who has arthritis was trapped in the room by those stairs for most of our stay. We only climbed down once during the stay, so we could drive to Barcelona. The other thing that I wasn't prepared for was the cost of parking in the Catalunya car park. 40 euros for 1 night.
