The heater wasn't warming up the room

The location is great! We frequent the area a few times per year. The room was clean and nice. Adequate for the price.

The check in and check out staff seemed too settled. Too mechanical. Not friendly at all. Stayed there a few years ago and a more welcoming The breakfast was not satisfactory but there are places nearby.

Check-in was very easy. Everyone was nice and welcoming. The room was clean.

The room was so bad that I didn’t stay and changed to a different hotel in a neighboring town; the smell in the room immediately made me sick, I tried three electrical outlets that did not work; there was no elevator, and I would have had to carry my 50lb luggage up a flight of very narrow outdoor stairs; the gap around the door was letting in outside air and noise. I only stayed in the room less than five minutes while becoming more ill from the smell, so I left, notifying the staff I would not be staying there so they could allow someone else to stay in the room, if necessary, and I would be seeking a refund because the property was not as advertised. The staff advised I would have to contact booking.com, which I did through messaging since I could not find a phone number for customer service. The photos online are not an accurate depiction of this property.
