The hotel was in a convenient city centre location, making it easy to explore Lucerne and access nearby attractions and transport. The stay was average overall, but the room was comfortable enough for a short visit. The central location was the main advantage.

It is located in a central location in town. It is an older building with its own charm. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was varied and tasty. Coffee and tea facilities were available at the reception area. Breakfast was shared at the hotel next door. It was a great place to explore beautiful Lucerne from.

An air conditioner would have been appreciated as it was quite warm for May. It looks like a new one was being installed

The hotel is about 10-12 minute walk from Lucerne station. Small and old hotel but, they made it up for the service. the room and dining are clean. Breakfast will stuffed you. There is a coffee machine by the lobby 24 hrs a day for free. On top of it, they are so damn honest. I left some money in the room when I checked out and came back a day after, they found it and gave me the whole thing! KUDOS Hotel de la Paix!

The lighting was confusing. To turn lights on all lighting had to be on. When the lighting was turned off all lights were out. Not enough plug ins. Only one was available and when you turned off the lights the plug was off also

Lighting situation and more plug ins. Help was great and location was excellent. Just needed an upgrade T o today’s standards.

The stay exceeded our expectations! The location was perfect, right in the city centre close to all the important things and with Lidl nearby. We got a stunning mountain view from our balcony and the room was very spacious.

The breakfast was good but significantly lacked warm dishes like scrambled eggs or sausages, walls are a bit thin so we could hear loud laughs and talks of our neighbours, bathroom was a bit tired with radiator knob broken
