Avoid this hotel. Hotel Toubkal was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I have had. The photos online are completely deceptive and bear little resemblance to the reality of what you get when you arrive. The property is outdated, poorly maintained, and far below the standard that is advertised. The room was filthy. There was visible dirt throughout the room, and the bathroom had mold growing in it, which is both disgusting and unacceptable. We specifically booked a non-smoking room, yet the room reeked of cigarette smoke and it was obvious that smoking had taken place there for a long time. The smell was overwhelming and made the room unpleasant to stay in. To make matters worse, the air conditioning did not work at all. When you’re paying for a hotel room, basic necessities like a clean room, working AC, and a smoke-free environment should not be too much to ask. This hotel appears to rely on misleading photos to attract guests. What is advertised online is not what you receive. Had I known the actual condition of the property, I would never have booked here. I would not recommend Hotel Toubkal to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, or honest place to stay in Casablanca.
