Hilton San Diego/Del Mar

The Hilton Del Mar is centrally located within minutes from The Del Mar Racing tracks and Fair grounds. The customer service is wonderful and the front desk personal are knowledgeable about the area. Del Mar Beach is nearby, however you may be tempted to spend the day relaxing by the pool. Set in a beautifully landscaped courtyard, the spacious pool features comfortable lounge seating and fire pits. Poolside service is available throughout the day, with handcrafted cocktails, and appetizers. The fitness center is great with state-of-the-art equipment. Our room was spacious with a balcony. The room had a workspace, dual vanity and a mini refrigerator. There is indoor and outdoor dining at the onsite restaurant Coastal Cantina. Coastal Cantina specializes in Authentic Mexican cuisine. The Baja Caesar Salad, Fresh made guacamole and Roasted Poblano Corn Chowder were delicious! If you're a breakfast eater there is an outstanding buffet filled with fresh fruit, eggs, belgium waffles with pure maple syrup, sausage and more. The Hilton Del Mar is the ideal place to stay in San Diego!

I didnt get my balcony but i did enjoy the patio

Thank you to Amir and all of the staff here! Excellent service for our wedding party to stay at a hotel! We booked with Hilton San Diego/Del Mar, and the team was extremely considerate of our complex hotel bookings and room changes. We loved that the hotel has a pool, a hot tub (towels by the pool too), and a restaurant for all three meals of the day. The secure, locked parking lot is worth it for our peace of mind and all the rental cars. Since we used to live in the area, we knew it was full of restaurants and fun things to do on the coast. Our week-long wedding trip was definitely highlighted by this hotel!

I loved that they were able to give me an early check-in. I was able to go to my niece's graduation with having a little rest in the hotel room beforehand. They were also able to give me a room near the elevator. The room seemed clean (except for a spider in the bathtub), and the view to the courtyard with the pool was really pretty (but they do need to clean the windows a bit more).

I felt really fortunate. Just the two things mentioned above, plus one more. 1. spider in the bathtub - although I wanted to take a bath, I didn't have the heart to move or kill the spider 2. the windows to the courtyard weren't that clean. 3. the phone didn't let me call down to the front desk or concierge (Room 3100), but I called the hotel from my cell phone and asked them to put in an order to have it fixed after I left.
