Le Grand Courlan Spa Resort - Adults Only

The entire property is in need of upkeep maintenance. A/C unit, bathroom faucet seems to be the same since it was built. Lizards in the porch as soon as it got dark. Not enough variety in breakfast menu. The tv only had 3 local channels and the internet kept going in and out.

Unfortunately, my recent stay at this hotel was far from what I had experienced in the past. I was first greeted at the front desk by a rather unpleasant young lady, which immediately set a negative tone. My room was located a long and tiring walk from the lobby, and in the heat and blazing sun, getting back and forth to my rental car was exhausting. The room itself was extremely outdated and in urgent need of renovation. It lacked comfort and modern amenities, and the overall condition did not reflect good maintenance standards. Breakfast was another letdown: poorly prepared and presented with little regard for hygiene. The restaurant staff seemed untrained in basic hospitality and customer service, which made the experience even more frustrating. The pool areas also appeared neglected and in need of cleaning. To add to the disappointment, the TV channel selection was very limited, with poor audio and visual quality that made watching anything virtually impossible. Years ago, I had a wonderful stay at this same property, so it’s sad to see how much it has declined. What was once a vibrant and welcoming hotel now feels run-down and uninviting. I sincerely hope management takes these concerns seriously and works to restore the hotel to its former standard. I do which to commend Chrissy for her professionalism and assistance in getting me to the sister hotel which was a far better experience.

Their pool is lovely

1. Hotel Staff were very friendly and breakfast was excellent 2. The a/c in the room was old, missing a vent cover and making noise. 3. There was a broken light switch on the bedhead 4. The shower had mould in the grout 5. There was a retractable clothes line in the shower but the line had mould 6. The vanity faucet was a bit hard to open and close as it probably needs a deep clean due to calcium buildup 7. The bathroom door seem to have warped so it was loud to close 8. Persons moving furniture in the room above us was very loud and disruptive 9. The wristband for the hotel is cheap and hard so it was uncomfortable to sleep with

Great staff. They are the friendliest you can expect. Only negatives was the lack of good WiFi connection and the general vibe was a bit old. Regardless an enjoyable experience

The room was very clean and spacious. The pool area was very expansive and comfortable. The only amenity that was lacking was a microwave oven.

From the moment we arrived at Le Grand , we were swept away by the beauty an tranquility of this resort. what made our stay truly exceptional was the great service. Every Staff member we encountered was so present, welcoming, and genuinely committed. My son was especially impressed by the resort's well-equipped gym..... a great feature for those who like to get their workout while travelling. hats off to the chief breakfast every morning was delicious and flavorful. we took the opportunity to relax on the beach also yes! this resort is on the beach. if you're looking for a quite and relaxing getaway this is it right here.

The most important part of the trip of the ocean and we really enjoyed it. As far as the hotel is concerned, major upkeep and renovation is required. There’s no real Wi-Fi anywhere in the hotel except the main lobby, which had no air condition and was like a boiler. There may be a few selective rooms that may have Wi-Fi, but it’s very difficult to relocate all your stuff just to get that room. Two days consecutive, almost half the items on the breakfast was missing. I’m not sure whether it was just our room, but on the last day there was brown water coming out of the tabs. We were told it was because of the rainfall, but it’s strange because it was just coming from our room. That put a very big damper on the entire experience. I’m sure there’s better places available.

The view from my room was perfect. It was an ocean view. The beach was easily accessible.

I really liked the quietness and peace. The facility was clean and the attedants were well mannered and respectful.
