"Don’t stay here! Worst Marriott ever!"

This is the worst Courtyard ever! This hotel is awful! We stayed here so we could attend a big game at Notre Dame. Big mistake! The bathtub/shower leaked. Grungy tile and dirty grout. Stains on carpet and upholstery . The chairs in breakfast area are filthy and stained. Maid service was spotty. Never made the bed. Only delivered some towels. Did not clean bathroom. Did not replace toilet paper. Worst of all is that the elevator broke down on every one of the three days we stayed! We got stuck in the elevator the first night. Our 89 year old friend had to climb the stairs to the third floor throughout our stay. Marriott needs to strip this hotel of their Marriott affiliation. Marriott needs to take responsibility for these conditions. Don’t stay here! If there are no hotels left in Notre Dame area, you’re better off driving out of town. Worst of all is that this hotel still charges $500 + game day weekends.
