Cozy building and kind staff make it feel like home in the midst of beautiful nature.

The location and the people are as good as you could find.

The staff were amazingly kind and warm. The whole place--rooms, restaurant, lobby--was probably one of the cleanest facilities we've seen in quite a while. The shower was awesome. The breakfast was great (we especially appreciated the self-service cappuccino/latte/espresso machine), the location was wonderful for a cozy weekend getaway, the room huge and the view from our balcony beautiful. At night, we could hear cowbells! Being able to rent e-bikes and get some advice/pointers of where to go made our Saturday there a total blast. We didn't take the full board option, but we had dinner there the first night and the food was tasty and well-priced. Especially in a smaller town, it's nice to know that there is a kitchen/cafe/bar to grab food and drinks. We really enjoyed our weekend there!

A minor detail would be the pillows: at least mine were pretty hard/flat and so I was a bit achy that weekend. Not a huge deal and considering how wonderful everything else was, it was a minor inconvenience. I think the only thing that disappointed us was the breakfast and checkout times. For a weekend getaway, it would be nice if one could grab breakfast a little later than 9:30 and check out at 11 or 12 instead of 10.
