Sofitel Beijing Central

I went to Beijing for a company event and met Leo from the front office department. He was very talkative and helped me a lot. The hotel pool was beautiful, just the style I like. The lobby was also gorgeous, and the front desk staff were very warm and welcoming. It was truly a perfect trip.

The unexpected perfect experience — Leo helped us a lot, solved our travel problems, recommended great restaurants, and the room was large with a beautiful bathtub. We will definitely come back here to see Leo again. Thank you once again.

Awesome!! The overall experience was top-notch. I really loved this hotel — the dark-themed design, the front desk service exceeded expectations, and Manager Leo was incredibly helpful. The concierge team was also great and arranged an excellent travel plan for us. The room was spacious and the bathtub was super comfortable.

每年都来北京去一趟环球，前年偶然住到了索菲特，因为遇到问题添加了leo的微信，这两年过来都会提前联系他帮我们安排，今年也一样安排的很好，已经是北京必选，房间够大，一家人住不拥挤，唯一问题就是没有投屏不是很方便，其他都很好，地铁几分钟走路就能到！

两天的行程，第二晚选择了市区索菲特，第一晚在环球住的，索菲特房间很大，但是没有环球新，不过整体还挺好的，地铁也近，附近也有吃的，一开始遇到问题，栗经理积极处理帮我们换了房间，还送了水果，整体服务意识很强，下次的话还会选择这里，

Sofitel stands for elegance, joie de vivre, ambiance, hospitality and even the Sofitel scent (18 proven stays in the past 8 years in 15 different Sofitel properties). As an ALL platinum member, I saw none of that during my stay. From the moment we entered the hotel, it was gloomy, no smile, no service and no ambience...plus a RMB300 swimming cap mandatory for entering the pool (who think of bringing a cap on holidays??). The room are nice, but not fully functioning. Front desk help is inexistent. I should have focused more on the negative reviews of the hotel, some being pretty much to the point and echoing my experience. It felt like a local company had taken over the management of the hotel, without considering what Sofitel stands for.
