Days Inn by Wyndham Victoria On The Harbour

This hotel is just a walking distance to The Empress Hotel and the Legislative Building. Lots of beautiful things to do around especially the horse carriage and Harbour tours.

Wyndham Days Inn has really nice accommodations, and with a view of the harbor as a bonus! The room as well as the whole hotel was very clean and staff was friendly. It's conveniently located across from the Coho Ferry dock, so I didn't need to spend the money to"drive on." I noted that they have Free Parking tho. I am a Wyndham time share owner, so my expectations are high... well, when staying Anywhere! I was not disappointed.

We liked the location, the view, and the beds were comfortable

The rooms were very hot. We knew ahead of time there was no air-conditioning, but it was impossible to get any air floral through the room, even with the window open. The only time it was bearable, was opening the door to the hallway and propping it so it would pull the air through the window. Of course we couldn’t do that overnight and our sleep was too warm. Another minor issue, but for a coffee drinker like myself, it was important. I got my coffee from the lobby as I had not brought my own milk like I usually do. But in the lobby, all they had for coffee was individual containers of Coffee-mate, which is quite an awful product and in this day and age, no coffee drinker likes to put that in their drink. I was quite shocked to find that in a hotel in downtown Victoria.

Great harbor location. Free parking

The room was very small. There was a step up to a VERY SMALL bathroom that was unsafe for my wife who has Parkinsons. Also the large pillows gave me a tweaked neck.

It was surprisingly quiet, given it was right across from the ferry and on a busy street. The location was great for us, since we came in on the ferry with no car.

Be aware there is no AC. It wasn't an issue when we were there. But it could be in the summer. There was a room fan though

Location of the hotel and restaurants overlooking the spectacular views, ease of using the TV, grab bars around the bathtub/shower, lighting around the mirror, good towels, spacious room even with a king bed. Also, free parking. The 'oldies but goodies' theme in the breakfast room with all the movie stars, musicians etc on the walls and on the tables; makes those of us who are seniors very comfortable.

Nothing really but would like to know if you offer special rates to those of us who live up-Island (Comox in my case) during the slower times of the year.
