The Fox

What a fantastic place to stay. Beautiful village location (we felt we had fallen into a children's story book), classy interior design, fabulous food, friendly service, gorgeous light filled room, high end cosmetics in the bathroom (lovely touch, we'll be buying some) delicious breakfast.

Handy stop off on a long journey. Lovely food, charming staff, nicely decorated and beautiful setting.

What made our short stay so enjoyable was the superb service we received throughout. The staff were so helpful, polite and knowledgeable - they couldn’t do enough for you. Everything about the accommodation had been thought through with their customers in mind. We will be going back there again as soon as we can.

It was our second stay at the fox and it was every bit as good as the first. A lovely spot for a night or two away! Looking forward to our next visit already.

Fox is a real gem. The rooms were newly refurbished to a very high standard and were very clean with lots of nice little touches, like the Tassimo coffee machine. The menu is excellent with a wide range of choices of locally sourced produce. The food is freshly cooked and to a high standard. The passion fruit Creme Brûlée is to die for. Our only regret is that we did not stay longer than one night, but we will return. The staff were extremely helpful and thoughtful, and were a credit to such a very special hotel.
