Carlyle Hotel

Room is huge ,clean and bathroom is updated.Complete with microwave,fridge &Keureg coffee maker.Staff are friendly & we were checked in very early for free.There's elevator from garage.

Noisy A//C and our room is facing intersection of the highway so we could hear the loud vehicles/ motorcycles racing middle of the night.Next visit,I'll request for a room not facing the street.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Carlyle Hotel in San Jose. The location is great — convenient for getting around the city and close to the main roads, which makes travel easy. The price was very reasonable for the quality, and the room was spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. It’s definitely a good option for both short and long stays, as the hotel provides everything you need for an enjoyable visit. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, always making sure guests feel at home. I also appreciated the overall cleanliness and calm atmosphere of the hotel. There are a few shops nearby, which is nice for quick errands, even though the area isn’t particularly busy — perfect if you prefer a quieter environment

There wasn’t much I didn’t like. The hotel is located near main roads, but the rooms are surprisingly quiet, so noise was not an issue. They offer coffee both in the rooms and in the lobby, which is a nice touch — it would just be even better if tea were available as well. Overall, the Carlyle Hotel is a comfortable, affordable, and welcoming place to stay in San Jose. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxed and convenient stay, especially if you’re planning to stay more than just a couple of nights.

Room was good and clean and nice

No coffee no amenities heavy traffic

I didn't expect too much when I saw the location and the outside facade. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in the front doors. It is owned/managed by some wonderful Hindu Indians and the decor certainly matches their atypical style. Into the room I went, it was very clean, yet without smelling too, cleaning product scented. Very nice and up-dated mattress, bedding, and TV. The blackout curtains were over-sized for the windows, which gave a true blackout in the morning. The bathroom has recently gone through an overhaul. I know the workmanship and materials as I am a home improvement tradesman. Overall, it was a very good value for my needs.

I got back to the property late, and the smallish parking garage under neath the main building was full. I parked at a closed restaurant 2 lots away. It's not at all a seedy neighborhood, but that scenario might be a little unsettling for some folks.

Could have a little more food and drink options.
