Quiet Remote

We arrived late due to flight delay . Arrived at midnight in this unknown part of the country The sign on the road was very small and not lit. Drove past and eventually found the hotel

Nothing.

The front desk staff was extremely rude and condescending. We got to our room, keys wouldn't work. We had went back down and let them know, they acted like we were a bother. Stepping into the room, we stepped on crumbs and there was dirt on the floor, and also something that looked like a bug in the corner behind the door. Next, we looked up and there was a huge brown spider that looked pregnant on the corner or the ceiling. We called downstairs to let them know and again, seemed like a bother to them. This place used to be decent for a night or two but it's gone completely down hill since last year. Don't waste your money. Costs less to book a night at a Disney resort.

Quiet rooms, Clean and the housekeeping folks are friendly and pleasant

I DIDNT appreciate the front desk young woman who had me charged for incidentals without explaining to me first what the $100 deposit was for. After I inserted the card I asked what the incidentals included and she seemed pissed off that she had to explain to me what they were. So while she was explaining the card reader started to beep telling me to remove my card and I didn’t as I was listening to her explaining to which she stopped explaining and told me to remove my card as that beeping sound was annoying to her. I continued to let the card beep and she tried to remove the card herself from the card reader. This is rude and unacceptable. I have never seen anyone that worked for me in hotel management treat a guest clearly that insulting as she was to me. Guests don’t appreciate being talked down to and if it was at my prior resort where I worked she would have fired immediately on the spot. No respect given and I will make it a point to let everyone know what lack of training your management has not been sharing with your front desk staff.
