Amalfi Residence

Gastvrije ontvangst, mooi schoon appartement met prachtig uitzicht en lekker balkon. Weg van de drommen toeristen, maar alles goed bereikbaar.

Als ik iets moet noemen: de paar pittige treden omhoog naar de ingang. Maar die neem je met liefde!

Luigi is an excellent host! He met to explain the parking and walked us through our room. One bedroom with bathroom/tub/shower/bidet, a single area for sitting, breakfast table, and kitchenette! The craftsmanship in the hallway and the room itself is top notch. It really looks as good as the photos. The included breakfast has cappuccino, local pastries, scrambled eggs on request, and breads with jams. Although there are 48 stone steps to get from the lower road (Via Maggio) to the apt, the view is amazing! It’s an infinity view across the water to the toe of Italy!! We are already looking for dates to return!

The view was amazing, I enjoyed looking at the sunrise while reading a book. I also enjoyed the breakfast.

There's nothing to dislike

Das Frühstück war gut, es wurde auf einem Servierwagen ins Zimmer geliefert. Wir haben es auf dem Balkon genossen. Lage toll, Balkon mit Blick aufs Meer toll.

An und für sich nichts. Die Treppe zu Hotel war ein bißchen steil

We spent 5 nights at the Amalfi Residence at the end of September. The suite was roomy and very comfortable! The views are spectacular for both sunrise & sunsets. The location is perfect to be able to explore the whole Amalfi Coast. Luigi could not have been more attentive and helpful. He was super responsive with questions and offered so much great advice to get there and navigate the area. He arranged a couple transfers for us, as well as arranged to have a scooter delivered to the residence, as well as a day trip to Capri. We didn’t have to waste time researching options - he made the arrangements and everything was great! He even invited us to take part in his local church supper fundraiser where we were able to share in the local cuisine & community for a minimal donation. The daily breakfast delivered by Luigi himself were incredible - with enough food for 6 people. Omlettes/scrambled eggs, fresh out of the oven croissants and pastries that varied every day with several jams & spreads, dried fruit and nuts, yogurt, meats & cheeses, fresh juice, and perfectly frothed cappuccinos. Like wow. We were set for the day without having to leave the suite or lift a finger. Our suite had 2 balconies from which we could indulge in these decadent breakfasts while watching the sun drench the breathtaking views with warm light. It really made it hard to leave the property to explore because it was so relaxing and comfortable. As with all visits to any of the stunning coastal towns built into the mountainside, be prepared to crush your steps goals with many stairs! You will easily see how Luigi is fit as a fiddle as we were sucking wind not used to doing so many stairs. But so so worth the spectacular views! The suites, the service and attention are second to none - do not hesitate to book this little slice of heaven.

Fantastic stay. Luigi is an amazing host, he had breakfast every day which was delicious. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. Luigi even loaned us a set of dice for so we could play games. The area is quiet and there are a couple restaurants in walking distance but you will need to take a drive to get to a lot of the area attractions.

If you aren't ready for a lot of walking and / or driving this may not be the place for you. It's out of the way from most of the main attractions.

Luigi's place was perfect, cozy, with a wonderful view. The breakfast was delicious. We will definitely come back here when we visit Italy again.

Our stay was too short. 😀
