"Safe but run down in Gainesville"

After driving for days, I just wanted a safe place to sleep. The LaQuinta across the parking lot was charging $160/night so I thought $70 for DaysInn was a deal. The room smelled strong of bleach and was cleanish. The blankets had blood stains as other reviews stated. Some things were newly renovated but too many were old, dirty or broken. Maybe they should just focus on completing one room completely. The front desk staff were superb as other reviews state and the lobby and dining room were modern and very clean. I've had worse experiences but this hotel needs more cleaning and repairs to make me comfortable with returning.

"Bad choice"

This place needs some serious repairs. Bad, bad quality. Perhaps the room we got was not used for a while. I would not recommend it!!!? One positive note: the desk people were superb! Benjamin ad his shift partner ( young lady) were superb! !!

Pictures do not remotely represent the actual conditions of establishment and rooms. Dirty floors and carpets, dilapidated bathroom, entire hotel is in desperate need of extensive renovations. My family and I will never set foot there again!! Next door hotel La Quinta is a 5 stars resort compared to this Days inn dump!

"Days Inn by Wyndham I-75, Gainesville"

This is an older Motel. It used to be a LaQuinta, but sold to Days Inn. The LaQuinta nextdoor is brand new and beautiful, with interior doors. They have tried to up date this property, but they're still moldy smelling inside, exterior doors and not in the best area. Staff was friendly. Only go here if you have to. There are nicer properties off of Archer and near Shands.

We went to check in to the property and we immediately took a detour to another property. The motel is run down and photos of the property falsely advertise. When attempting to speak to a manager on the phone I was rudely greeted and basically hung up on.

This is NOT a “Hotel” is a dirty, nasty, run down motel at best. The Expedia description is a total lie. Don’t believe the pics!!!
