New Town Guest House (Adults Only)

The owner was so kind answering questions I had about leaving my bag the following day as we were going to the Botanics which is walking distance from this guest house. The style of the room is cool and a bit quirky and the shower room is brand new and beautiful. The bed was hotel quality and great hotel quality white bed sheets, its was a peaceful room (room 4) overlooking a peaceful garden. The location is great for the market and stockbridge and the river walks.

Its a house so you can hear the pipes of other showers but it didn't bother me that much. There is a fire alarm that flashes at white light at night. But neither of these bothered my stay.

La chambre était spacieuse et cela était excellent car je suis restée 10 nuits. Une très belle chambre, confortable et très propre. La discrétion du personnel. La propreté. L'emplacement de cet hôtel un peu excentré, mais le transport public est excellent à Édimbourg. J'étais proche des jardins botaniques royaux d'Édimbourg, je pouvais marcher et cela me convenait tout à fait . Il était facile de se rendre dans la " vieille " partie de la ville.

Il a été extrêmement difficile, boire presqu'impossible de communiquer directement avec le propriétaire avant mon départ. Ils ne répondent ni au téléphone, ni au courriel. J'ai dû communiquer avec Booking qui a servi d'intermédiaire. Je devais savoir si je pouvais avoir ma chambre au rez-de-chaussée. Finalement, après des semaines, j'ai eu une réponse grâce à Booking.

Emplacement parfait pour visiter la ville a pied.

La taille des chambres : certaines sint cranes très petites.

Location is quiet and nice, little traffic on the street, but close to the location you can find buses to reach city centre and also nice pubs and minimarket open late. Room was small, but really clean and provided with all you need, included iron and all you need to make tea or espresso

Stairs are quite steep and regulating the water temperature in the shower was quite slow. Very small wardrobe.
