Die Dusche ist überaltert; Die Wände sind nicht wirklich schalldicht (Baby gegenüber) Der Safe fehlt noch Zimmernummerierung ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig kein Frühstück

Geniale Aussicht, Zimmer schön & sauber, für 1 Nacht & mit Auto war auch Lage ok.

Absolut unpersönlich; kein Personal, kein Restaurant oder Food Angebot, fast schon wie ein Geisterhaus. Online Registration leider super aufwändig & mühsam mit mehreren Personen, als Familie.

Sehr praktisch, da alles elektronisch. Kein Personal. Ist einfach ein sehr abgewohntes, altes Hotel, aber Preis Leistung gut. Unkompliziert. Grosse Räume. Kommen öfter Mal. Aber so hier und da Mal eine Kakerlake am Boden ist normal offensichtlich 😬

Eben das sehr abgewohnte.

Kein Frühstück. War geschlossen. Kaffe oder Tee Automat funktionierte nicht. 3.50 reingetan und Snack kam nicht raus. Das Geld auch nicht.

Die Lichtverhältnisse im Zimmer; aber wir waren ja nur nachts da. Also egal.

Die Lage und der Ausblick auf den See sind super. Die Bushaltestelle nach Locarno/Ascona ist nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Parkplätze sind ebenfalls vorhanden. Der Preis war in meinem Fall (Nebensaison) günstig.

Das Hotel Esplanade ist ein ehemaliges Grand Hotel mit bewegter Geschichte. Mit der Umgestaltung in eine völlig elektronisch funktionierende Unterkunft ohne Personal hat es aber seine Seele verloren. Der wunderbare Esssaal ist mit einer Kette verbarrikadiert, alle anderen Räume sind ebenfalls abgesperrt, der leere Pool ist total verwahrlost und der Park vernachlässigt. In meinem Zimmer hatte es abends kein Licht, weil in der einten Lampe die Birne fehlte und bei der anderen der Stecker kaputt war. Weil aber nur zwischen 9 und 17 jemand telefonisch erreicht werden kann, musste ich halt im Dunkeln ins Bett gehen. Ich hatte den Eindruck, da gibt es kein Personal mehr und da fühlt sich auch niemand mehr verantwortlich.
