Super 8 by Wyndham Sealy

I spent a night at this Super 8 motel in Sealy, TX. The motel's location is right by Freeway 10 and Highway 36. It is very hard to get to the hotel. The motel looked old, and the staff was not friendly. The towels were either old or dirty because there were some stain spots on them. I liked the shower water pressure because it was very strong. The motel needs to be updated because it is an old motel.

Uday at the front desk was great an always helpful from checking in to checking out. Kriss also was very helpful my last time i stayed here with finding restaurants in the area.

The beds are very comfortable. Outside of that, this place is not great at all. The area is dirty, the rooms were dirty, the smell from people having smoked in the non-smoking rooms and the smoke coming into the A/C from people smoking on the landing is very bad. I seldom give places bad reviews but this one deserved it.

We booked last minute and the person in the reception was nice.

The room was very humid and the bed linens seemed almost wet. The facilities aren't great. The AC did not work that well.

The light above the sink did not work. The microwave oven did not work and I had to leave the property to get hot food.
