Flamingo Boutique Hotel & Ayurvedic spa

A beautiful building with beautiful architectural details set in a quiet riverside garden setting. Loved being able to paddle the canoes to the beach and how uncrowded the beach was. Very convenient to have a quality restaurant onsite and the staff were all really friendly and helpful. They also arranged tuk tuk and backwater shikara tours for us.

Power sockets were all loose which made charging devices a challenge. WiFi was weak and didn’t reach the room - but it was sufficient in the common areas. Power sockets should be replaced and WiFi enhanced. Better clarity around room cleaning schedule could also be communicated.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. L’hôtel est un havre de paix. Le bâtiment en lui-même a beaucoup de caractère avec des espaces ombragé dans lesquelles l’air circule avec de nombreuses plantes et une végétation luxuriante. Le jardin est très agréable et bénéficie d’un accès à un cours d’eau qui nous a permis de faire une balade en barque depuis l’hôtel jusqu’à un petit spot de Plage. Le restaurant est super avec des plats variés et délicieux à des prix très correct, petit déjeuner midi et dîner. Le spa nous a offert le meilleur massage que nous ayons eu durant tout notre séjour en Inde et un total moment de détente. Enfin, le personnel s’est montrée très accueillant, chaleureux et accommodant. Nous avions un vol tard en fin de soirée et nous avons pu bénéficier des commodités de l’hôtel toute la journée. Sur 10 jours de voyage dans le Kerala ça a été notre meilleur expérience et notre vrai coup de cœur.

The hospitality of the staff was good, and the dinner was nice. It’s a cozy place to stay, and the food is generally good. They also provide complimentary canoes for guests to use on a self-service basis to reach the beach.

However, the stay felt a bit pricey. The property is quite small, and apart from the swimming pool there isn’t much else to do. Also beach is 7-8min walk from hotel. The breakfast menu also has very few choices. there were quite a lot of mosquitoes in both the rooms and the dining area, which was uncomfortable. The room fan had quite a lot of dust on it, which wasn’t very pleasant

Pokoje są bardzo ładnie urządzone, czyste i dopracowane w najmniejszych detalach, a łóżko wyjątkowo wygodne. Duże wrażenie zrobiła na mnie łazienka z otwartym dachem i prysznicem pod gołym niebem – coś wyjątkowego. Obsługa jest niezwykle miła i pomocna, a szczególnie Sharun, który od pierwszego dnia służył pomocą, wszystko cierpliwie wyjaśniał i świetnie mówi po angielsku. Śniadania były smaczne, basen czysty i zadbany, idealny do relaksu. Ogromnym atutem hotelu jest dostęp do kanału – wystarczy kilka minut kajakiem, aby dopłynąć na niemal pustą plażę z hotelowymi leżakami. W okolicy, w zasięgu krótkiego spaceru, znajduje się również kilka restauracji. Zdecydowanie miejsce, do którego chce się wracać. 🇬🇧 This place has an amazing atmosphere – Spanish hacienda style, surrounded by greenery and a peaceful vibe you feel right after arrival. The rooms are beautifully designed, very clean, and finished with great attention to detail. The bed is extremely comfortable. The bathroom with an open roof and an outdoor-style shower was a real highlight and made the stay feel special. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, especially Sharun, who supported us from day one, explained everything clearly, and speaks excellent English. The breakfasts were tasty, the pool was clean and well maintained, perfect for relaxing. A huge advantage of the hotel is the direct access to the canal – just a few minutes by canoe and you reach an almost empty beach with hotel sun loungers. There are also several restaurants within a short walking distance. Truly a place worth coming back to.
