La habitación era cómoda y tenía todo lo necesario, aunque algo anticuada.

La atención de alguna recepcionista en particular no fue la mejor. Pero en general el personal bien. Lamentable que no incluya el desayuno, que intentan compensar con 17 dólares diarios para snacks y bebidas.

"Room not ready for check-in until 8:30pm"

I understand you get what you pay for. Hotel was basically what we were looking for: a quiet place where we could spend one night after a long flight. Rooms were small and not updated but that didn't matter to us. However, it was a bad sign at 7pm check-in when several people were waiting in the lobby with no rooms available yet! We finally got a room at 8:30pm. After a full day of travel with a kid, tired and hungry, we were desperate for our room to be ready. We are also Marriott Bonvoy Platinum members and this is pretty unacceptable. We tried contacting Marriott to give them feedback but they basically just said sorry it happened and didn't offer us any kind of points compensation or anything. If you are looking for a cheaper place with a good location to the airport and old San Juan this hotel is fine but you might not be able to check in until the evening.

The location was great. There were places to eat close by and shopping and actually walkable to Old San Juan, long walk but doable.

The room was smaller than it looked in the photo, but we were only there for 1 night so no big deal.
