Sleep Inn & Suites Tampa South

Sleep Inn always a good place to stay. Tampa or St Pet, both are super new and clean. This Hotel charge for overnight parking.

Everyone is helpful & polite. The breakfast was very good and plentiful.

I was scheduled for the wrong date, tried multiple times to call, no one answered, and was scammed out of 250 dollars.

They should advertise they charge parking fees in addition to room and tax rates. Otherwise excellent

Clean and Modern Rooms: The rooms were spotless and thoughtfully designed with modern decor. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the soft linens and fluffy pillows. Friendly Staff: The hotel staff was warm, welcoming, and always willing to help. Whether it was check-in or asking for local recommendations, they made the experience smooth and enjoyable. Convenient Location: Located in South Tampa, it's close to many attractions, restaurants, and the airport. It was easy to get around and explore the city. Great Amenities: I enjoyed the free hot breakfast in the morning, and the fitness center was well-equipped and clean. The free Wi-Fi was strong and reliable throughout my stay. Quiet and Comfortable: Despite being in a busy area, the hotel was peaceful and quiet, which made for restful nights.

Elevator: The elevator was a smell of oil or something in it

Madison at front desk is sweetheart and professional, Manager next morning equally caring. New hotel with great housekeeping and comfortable beds. The breakfast was amazing and the location is great. Will definitely return. Internet was fast.

Staff was very friendly rooms were very clean

Only complaint is water pressure was low in the sink but very nice hot showers

My family had a 1 night stay for a youth sports tournament. It is about 15 min from the convention center. The rooms were very clean and the lady at the front desk was awesome. Some draw backs….. the neighborhood is a little rundown (we still felt safe). The worst thing about our stay was the smell of the hallways as soon as you get to the elevator in the lobby you can smell it. They smelled like mildew or something. I think maybe they shampooed the hallways and didn’t suck up the water properly. Anyway it made a visually clean place seem somehow dirty and it made my family really uncomfortable with the cleanliness of the place. Because of the smell we checked our rooms really really well and it was one of the cleanest rooms I’ve stayed in.

Overall the stay was okay and was acceptable enough for the length of our stay. However, there were some things that detracted from the stay at this location. The walls in the room seemed to be super thin and you could hear almost everything from the adjacent room as if there was no wall there. The elevator also seemed to be on the verge of breaking down. The complimentary breakfast was good but options limited. So overall I would say the stay was okay but not great enough to keep on my list of places to stay again if I am back in the Tampa/St Petersburg area
