"The known is better than the unknown"

We liked being close to our race venue.We have stayed there the last three years. We knew what to expect and actually stayed in the same room as our first time. So most of the dislikes we knew from past experience. It was a good deal for one night.

The hotel is on a very busy street so we heard sirens during the night. The fridge had been unplugged for some reason. This is not your typical Red Roof Inn. No breakfast (we knew that up front.) Reception is a tiny little area.There was heavy street equipment parked right outside the room in the parking space. Not sure if they were also staying at the hotel or not.

I could not get anyone to wait on me. I stood ringing bell for service for 10 minutes. I then called the number and finally he came out but did kit tell me total or give me receipt. Not pleased

There wasn't anything I liked about this property because it was in the downtown area and so many homeless people around and even staying at that Motel made me feel uncomfortable

"Rude AF!"

The location is 15 minutes from the i40 - After being on the road for 8 hours, we thought we would save a few dollars and find a place off the highway. Just before we arrived our 1 year old pooped his diaper and we needed to change him. We parked in the front and walked into the unlocked front door. We he approached the front desk and started reading the literature for pricing and rules. Suddenly, a woman walked out and started shoeing us out the door. She told us to get out and go to the window. Found the window and told the woman we had a reservation and she quickly replied. “I need to see your ID.” I immediately wanted to leave, the baby was crying hysterically and there was no bathroom for my husband to change his soiled diaper. I told them to please cancel the reservation because we wanted to stay somewhere else! Booking was great canceling the reservation!!! I got a full refund - despite the hotel manager lying saying that they provided an adequate room that we found unsatisfactory. We never even saw a room because we never made it past check-in!!
