At Ease Beach Hotel

Everything was suitable and clean. We had a warm welcome. The bathroom was surprisingly good for an asian country and looked alike the photos. The breakfast was really good and a ton of well prepared food (fresh fruits, eggs of your choice, avocado shake, toasted bread, waffles or pancakes, coffee, etc) and served fresh. Beach is nice and quiet - waves were too rough for swimming (November). The food for lunch and dinner also was nice and tasty, but a bit pricy (advice: if you like fresh coconut you should advise them to store more than two in the fridge). But we didn‘t try the coral fish which is offered though it looked really nice. You‘re able to pay by card although you get asked if you‘re able to pay in cash.

You always need to watch your kids as the gate to the street is open during the day and the pool is on the floor level. If you want to go out for something beside of the beach you need a tuktuk - only a few restaurants and shops nearby (but no big issue). Bar service only until 9 pm but it depends if someone is still around.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Vi havde et helt fantastisk ophold på dette skønne hotel! Beliggenheden kunne simpelthen ikke være bedre – lige ned til stranden, og samtidig med egen pool, så man kan vælge præcis den stemning, man har lyst til. Morgenmaden var lækker og varieret, alt var super rent og pænt, og værelserne var store, lyse og virkelig komfortable. Servicen var helt i top – personalet var utroligt venligt, smilende og altid klar til at hjælpe med et smil. Alt i alt et vidunderligt sted, som vi varmt kan anbefale til alle, der søger ro, hygge og lidt luksus ved stranden. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen! 🌊☀️

You are practically on the beach, great rooms, super friendly staff and overall a great stay- couldn’t have asked for more.

Great place, everything was clean. Friendly personell and very service minded. Breakfast was included and it tasted delicious. Fruit and variety of egg and bread. Pool was also nice, and the beachfront balcony was wonderful for a nightcap listening to the waves. They also organized trips for us! Fantastic stay and highly recommended.

Fijn hotel, schoon en lekker zwembad, meteen aan zee. Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Grote en schone kamer.

Was iets te ver van het centrum, lopen kan zeker, maar is een goede 30 min over het strand. Het is er daardoor wel lekker rustig, we zaten buiten het seizoen, ik denk dat het tijdens hoogseizoen heerlijk rustig is in de drukte van Hikkaduwe dan!
