Holiday Inn Tampa Westshore - Airport Area by IHG

Location was perfect, close to the airport.

For a king suite is clearly outdated, horrible finishes, water was almost cold, had trouble showering, AC in the room didn’t work at all, was cold all night.

The property did not provide heat in the rooms each night the rooms were freezing cold. Hotel was unsafe lots of strange men wondering if he building they assingned me and my 10 year old daughter a room and when we arrived there was a man in his underwear in the room. Guest services informed me the man was not a guest and was not authorized to be in the room.

It was cleaned.

We were told that we could check in at noon. We got to the front desk at 12:30 and were told that our room would be ready in about an half an hour. We went back up to the check in desk an hour later and was told you see all these people, they were here before you and you right get your room before theirs, so the half an hour was a flat out lie. So, we didn’t get our room key around 4pm. Your check in men were rude and not very nice. The man that wears blush was the rudest, I do not his name.

It was near the airport

There wasn’t a lot for me to do within walking distance

Breakfast was good

That although I had checked in a staff member came to the room saying no one should be in the room. And I has to produce documentation

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean, large and comfortable rooms, with good parking close to the airport. .

A minor problem: the shower fixture didn't work very well.
