The Islander Inn

What a pleasant surprise to find this inn, allowing us to enjoy the Bigfork Summer Playhouse and not have to drive back to Missoula that night. Loved the ease of check-in! Thank you!

The Booking.com photos showed that there was beach access - not really any beach access. The units are NOT on the beach and do not have a lake view. Very misleading.

The hotel room felt more like a personalized space with warm feel to it. Only suggestion would be to add curtains on the front windows to block the car’s headlights and another layer of security on the front door. Staying as a single person I did not feel as safe. It had plenty of little touches and lots of towels. Didn’t need soap or hair soap. Great restaurant next door. Will definitely stay again!!

Close to lake

Online pictures are much nicer than the inn itself. The grass was overgrown, flower beds full of weeds, beds very uncomfortable, sinking in even though we are not overweight. Kitchen only useful for making tea/coffee, not much else. The place is run down.

It was a great location. Staff were friendly.

I love that it’s small and charming. Close to restaurants and a lovely view.
