I could compile a few nitpicks but Corrado and his family - some of the better hosts I ever encountered, if not the best - leave zero desire for it. Check-in - you get a welcoming drink from a smiling host, all the necessary information in good English (if you don't speak Italian like me) and a welcoming gift. Breakfast - sandwiches, pastries (some of them homemade), fruits, drink of your choice, perfectly satisfying. Beach - 250m to the nearest public beach, but I would recommend to go a bit further, about 700m. The nearest beach had a strip of rocky/pebbles surface a couple of meters when you enter the sea (although after that it's sand again). And the beach further is sand-only. The beach was not crowded (end of September) and we had a perfect time there. But I digress... Cleanliness - each day your apartment are cleaned perfectly. You don't have direct access to washing machine but just ask the host, give him a bag with your clothes which need washing and get them clean on that same day. If you want to go for a trip to Etna, for example, and don't have time for breakfast - tell that to the host and he will pack you some sandwiches for your trip. Just be polite and tell him that in advance, not at 9PM, like we did. :( - he has a life too. Wi-fi - for some reason it has a lower score in this apartment (some 8,5). I don't know why. Encountered no issues and we could enjoy a Netflix film in the evening without any interruptions. Checkout - no problem, just leave the key and get your goodbye gift. :)

If you want to enjoy your breakfast outside (there is an area for it) you may be accompanied by some wasps and some bad smell, both coming from some neighbors side. It is not the hosts' fault and I am not sure if they can do anything about it. Also we used a workaround, when arranged dinner in the patio of our apartment - just moved the table closer to the apartment and it felt much better.

Wir wurden super nett empfangen. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Am Morgen gab es ein reichhaltiges Frühstücksbüffet, betreut von der super lieben Gastgeberin.

Corrado was a great host. The room was spotlessly clean. The surroundings are quiet. Parking is possible in the courtyard of the apartments. The sea is 100 m away. The breakfast was varied and very tasty. We absolutely recommend it.

Io e la mia ragazza abbiamo soggiornato 6 notti in questa elegante villetta sul lungomare di Avola. La struttura è dotata di un comodissimo parcheggio interno e risulta da subito accogliente e curata in ogni dettaglio. Corrado, il proprietario, ci ha messo a nostro agio sin dal primo istante, dandoci il benvenuto con un delizioso budino alle mandorle preparato dalla mamma, la Sig.ra Angela. Inoltre, con i suoi preziosi consigli, ci ha permesso giorno dopo giorno di ottimizzare gli spostamenti e di muoverci con maggiore facilità alla scoperta delle meraviglie del territorio. La posizione strategica, poi, ha reso tutto più semplice. La struttura, infatti, è perfetta sia per raggiungere comodamente località come Noto (a soli 15 min. di auto), Vendicari, Siracusa/Ortigia e San Lorenzo, sia per fare una passeggiata serale in tutta tranquillità. Ad accoglierci la mattina, un'ampia selezione di frutta fresca (ottime le pesche!) e le deliziose torte artigianali della Sig.ra Angela che, oltre a darci la carica giusta per affrontare la giornata, hanno contribuito a farci sentire davvero a casa. Bonus point: le docce esterne per sciacquarsi dopo il mare e la possibilità di prendere un ombrellone da portare in spiaggia.
