"Misleading prepayment option that was never honored, resulting in denied check-in at midnight."

I booked a room selecting the prepayment option (“pay before arrival”), but the hotel never processed the charge nor informed me of any additional steps. When I arrived at midnight, I was denied check-in because no payment was registered and was asked to pay on the spot. This resulted in lost time and unnecessary stress. Booking offers a payment option that is not actually fulfilled, which is misleading to customers. Customer support provided no solution. Do not recommend.
