"Rude manager"

The staff (one lady) wasn't very polite. After booking I received the email with Check-out information. It was said that checkout is till 11:00 a.m. On the day of checkout the manager (lady) told me in a rude way that checkout is till 10:30 p.m., although I told her that in their email says 11:00 o'clock. She didn't apologise for their mistake!

In contrast to many other hospitality options in the Harz, this little gem of a hotel was absolutely lovely. The owners were very friendly and open. The homemade cakes they offered were marvellous and had the most pleasent presentation. The breakfast was not overwhelmingly lavish but offered many homemade jams and a nice variety of bread, coffee, drinks, and muesli.
