The Half Moon Inn and Country lodge

Had air conditioning on one of the hottest nights of the year so the room was a comfortable temperature.

Shower was a bit small but was functioning.

Very goog staff Flexible arrival time. Good parking.Basic but very comfortable room.

Nothing.

The pub food was excellent, but the room needs updating, very dark inside.

The room was so dark inside, beds need replacing

Evening meals and breakfasts were superb. Staff very helpful and friendly. Location was perfect for us.

As we are non smokers it was a bit annoying that the outside tables for smokers from the bar etc were immediately outside of our accommodation window. This meant we were forced to close the window which isn't ideal in June. It would be more sensible for smokers to have to go out of the 'courtyard' area and out to the front of the building instead.

I love everything about the half moon, that's why I keep coming back here when I visit Yeovil, it's very easy to get here, just a couple of minutes from town so it's lovely and quiet, the food is amazing, and plenty full, the rooms are perfect for our needs, only one very minor thing I'd like better is brighter lights in the room, but like I said, this place is brilliant for me and my old woman
