Venice Lagoon House B&B

The place is very close to the airport and staff is very friendly. The place is decently clean and close to transport. I greatly also appreciate that they welcome refugees and have a very last minute cancelling option.

The price is fair for the area and this is also mentioned in a the advert, so there were no huge expectations there, but environment could be slightly improved to give a bit more comfort.

The owner was a gem if you need a place to stay near the airport in Venice this is the best bang for your buck

Host was kind and tried to stay awake to greet us

Beds were not very comfortable. Wifi connection was quite weak

Comfy beds! Really appreciated the water left in the room and the ability to check in ourselves at 1am after our flight arrived. Bathroom was suitable and towels provided. We walked from the airport and it was pretty convenient, just be mindful there are certain areas of the path that aren't well lit. Not sure I would feel comfortable as a lone woman walking so something to be mindful of. Very convenient for us though arriving to the airport at midnight!

The room was very hot and there were some mosquitoes (just the nature of Italy at this time of year). We were quite disrupted by other guests entering and closing doors during the night, not much soundproofing. Pretty decent nights sleep regardless though. Maybe bring ear plugs!
