Renaissance Charlotte SouthPark Hotel

Great hotel, great location, friendly staff, very cool rooms. Had to hunt a little for the fridge but found it.

This hotel currently has no operational elevator. I would give them grace for this, except that one of my employees was here several weeks ago and said one of the two elevators was broken. That one was still broken today, and now the second one is being serviced, so I had to walk up to the fifth floor. Also, the hair dryers are very low wattage, which is unacceptable for a business hotel, they did not replace the makeup remover wipe when they cleaned my room, and the snacks in the lounge are not up to Renaissance standards. This hotel is located very close to my office but I would probably choose a further hotel with better amenities the next time I’m in Charlotte.

Lovely hotel. Easy parking. Super clean and well appointed room. Extremely professional and personable front desk. Esp Griffin who checked me in, tho they were all excellent. It will be my hotel in Charlotte. Leaving my regular past hotel.

Had a great experience at The Renaissance in South Park. The staff were all friendly and helpful. James checked us in and was very helpful in getting us situated and explaining the options to us. The lady that cleaned our room was very kind and efficient. The atmosphere allows for us to be able to unwind and release the stresses for the week so that we could fully enjoy our babymoon. We will definitely be back to stay again.

At check-in Monday: one elevator available - Friday AM 0 public elevators. 11 AM service elevator failed and no one came to assist with luggage until 25 minutes later a civilian elevator specialist showed up to manually operate service elevator. Aging facility. Never bring back my firm. Disappointed in staff performance for Marriott brand.

The staff was very pleasant. The hotel is clean and the location was perfect!

First time here. Location is nice as you can walk to the mall and many of restaurants. Not sure about the #2 (TripAdvisor) ranking in the whole city? The hotel is oddly modern yet industrial on the inside. A bit rough around the edges but still clean and neat. The AC worked pretty well and the bed was comfy. Blackout shades were nice. Lounge was acceptable. Free parking. I would stay again.

The cleanliness

The house maids did not renew the tea coffee sugar etc… not once in my 6 days of staying there. I asked for a coffee downstairs which was put in a plastic cup.. for a hotel of that standard you should have proper cups and saucers. The croissant they got out of the fridge in a plastic container.. no elegance . No finesse . But aside from that rooms were big and comfortable. Bed was glorious.

We hosted our women’s retreat for 130 women at this venue. I’m very pleased. Great communication with my staff the months leading up to the retreat. When I arrived I was greeted by Kyle and James. They both were kind, courteous, and helpful. I especially appreciated Kyle! He was pleasant and polite. I had many logistical questions for our group and he was not only patient, but he welcomed the questions! I saw him working diligently training his staff and making sure the lobby was stocked with fresh fruit infused water and more! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The hotel itself has beautiful indoor and outdoor courtyards. The indoor pool is small. The restaurant offers a good menu. Kyle offered a day pass to the hotel’s sister property to access the pool and it was a big hit!! This is excellent customer service! Thank you for an excellent and impressive experience!
