Lisbon Top Hostel

The hostel was very cozy and the beds were comfortable. They have actual pillows that offer your head support and actual blankets that are soft and keep you warm if needed - not many hostels have these things. I really liked the wooden floors of the whole establishment. The kitchen was clean and spacious and had everything and more you would need in a kitchen. The lounge room was cute and cozy. The washrooms were nice and clean, but they could use more surfaces where to place your items without them getting wet. The location is very comfortable and although it is on a busy street, there wasn't any traffic noise in my room.

It was a little bit confusing to find the place. There could be a better system for kitchen usage, because some guests don't share a common kitchen etiquette. There is a dishwasher that not many guests know about so it doesn't get filled up and turned on, leaving the few dirty dishes to collect mold overtime and the lazy guests still toss their dirty dishes in, instead of washing their one plate by hand. Some guests also do not follow the recycling system, they just toss whatever they want into whatever bins, so maybe during check-in there could be a brief overview for following the system. There should also be a uniform system of writing check-out dates next to your name to the items in the fridge. That way if someone forgets to clean out their leftovers from the fridge before leaving, the staff can toss it out without having to worry about throwing out a guest's items.

Location was good, their living space and kitchen are great additions!!

The bunk beds are quite small and squeaky. There was no fan!!!!! It was 30 degrees outside during the weekend and there was no fan or AC, really too hot in the room. No towels supplied at this stay. There are two bathrooms and they are meh. The lobby as you come into the older apartment building was kind of scary just so dark, no instructions said to turn a light on as you come in.

Very good hostel, convenient, with a kitchen you can use, have a fridge to store your food too. The staff is very nice.

Next to the window is a garden seating so you hear the people quiet a lot when you wanna sleep

They were very friendly and understanding when I arrived there late at night. It was clean.

The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. The locker was just stuck, I couldn't even open it.
