Pousada Barcelos

The staff was very helpful and friendly, the entire place has everything you might need: souvenirs, maps and tours. I am glad they have a pool, but we didn't have the chance to use it. The breakfast was very complex and tasty. The beds were comfortable.

I didn't like that the advertisement for the accommodation that I booked said "standard apartment with one private room and a living room", thinking that me and my partner would sleep in different rooms, but actually they gave us a double bed in a single room with private bathroom, not apartment. Then we asked for a room with twin beds, because "standard apartment" has another price tag.

The people at Barcelos were great, very friendly and wanted to help. They provided us with names of 4x4 guides, helped with things to see and visit and where to eat. The property is in a great location with walkable restaurants and supermarket. The area was very safe and they have a secure lot to park cars. The city center has a few restaurants which a is longer walk but we decided to drive. The pousada was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and the sauna after our days hiking! Barcelo’s is right near the entrance to Serra Cananstra park and near cheese farms to visit. For breakfast they offerred great local Canastra cheeses, fruits, yogurts, cereal, eggs and these excellent grilled cheese breads, yum!!

Muito bem localizado, infra estrutura adequada e com um paisagismo fantástico, além da piscina aquecida muito limpa. Local silencioso que permite um sono muito tranquilo. Funcionários presentes, atenciosos e prestativos. Os proprietários também são extraordinários! Destaco, ainda, o café da manhã fantástico! Nota 1.000!

Casal Bruno e Damiris , foram atenciosos, simpáticos e muito eficientes. Parecia que estava na casa da minha avó em MG. Funcionários alegres, acolhedores e receptivos , Mariana, Pedro e Ingrid. Pão de queijo da Ana de comer de joelhos.Pousada bonita , aconchegante e bem cuidada. Vamos voltar. Adoramos.
