The Maya

Everything. Literally everything. This is the spot if you are in the area. I don’t say this lightly. Pulling into the place, there is plenty of parking, and it’s clear where to check in. The guy at the front desk (whose name I will find and add to this when I’m there next) not only is efficient, he is simply just kind. I’ve stayed in 3 different rooms at this hotel, and they all were 100% clean, quiet, and beautiful view of the harbor. I even used the gym there, and it’s better than my regular gym. The maintenance guy went out of his way to say hello. The beds are soft, clean, and feel relatively new. I’ve stayed at many hotels across this country and I would put this spot as one of the top places I’ve spent time with. Especially for the rate of the room.

The Fuego restaurant was under construction and the hookah lounge which was disappointing and the parking rates per day were high some of the staff at the pool area were kind of rude and there were incidents involving police and a lady bleeding from her head

We only stayed one night after getting off a cruise. We enjoyed our stay.

They hosted a prom so it was very loud.
