Mount Nevis Hotel

Jowelle, Paula and the hotel staff were all great and made the stay an excellent experience. The view from the room and pool was amazing! PLEASE NOTE ... the RESTAURANT is NOT RUN by the HOTEL. Which is probably why the service was horrible and the food below average. ENJOY your stay at the HOTEL. Save yourself from a horrible experience at the restaurant.

Gorgeous view, pool, grounds and room. Staff excellent, especially Joella, the manager. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and always with a smile. Restaurant closed while we were there. A shuttle was provided to nearby restaurants (due to restaurant closure), but a car would be advisable for longer stays. Peaceful, quiet hillside apts well maintained, furnished tastefully and basically. We were happy to stay there all day enjoying the beauty.

Very good hotel beautiful scenery all around very clean hotel and very helpful staff. They should provide drinking water bottles in room fridge. Breakfast needs improvement. Overall good experience will definitely stay again if possible.

It was a very quiet and adorable hotel. The staff was very nice. The good hours are limited, but this is to be expected at a smaller boutique hotel. It was lively!

The Mount Nevis Hotel felt like what I imagine a true old fashioned Caribbean hotel stay would have been like in the not so distant past. The hotel is in a beautiful setting overlooking the ocean. There is no immediate beach access but the hotel arranges a quick and comfortable transport to 3 local beaches at no cost. The rooms are simple, but comfortable and clean. There is a small outdoor patio restaurant and bar, as well as a small hotel pool. The restaurant had quite good (if a bit on the expensive side) food, with lots of fresh local ingredients. Babita made us what I would rate the best (and also complimentary!) rum punch we have ever had in the Caribbean to welcome us to the hotel. When we asked her for some water to take to the beach one day, she not only provided it with a smile but garnished it with lots of mint and lemon - delicious. And all of the staff were always friendly, welcoming, and truly warm. We we would stay at this hotel again and recommend it to friends and family. This is not a big luxury hotel by any means, but one of the most pleasant we have visited in our travels south.

I didn’t get the room I booked. Then they couldn’t do anything about it.. I was locked out the gate had to park outside and walk in..

The views were outstanding. Best on the island. Food service is very slow-not sure if understaffed or unprepared but expect to wait an hour for breakfast most days.

The room and hotel grounds were very well maintained. The pool is very nice and well maintained. The room has A/C and internet TV. The 2nd floor ocean view rooms provided a very serene view. The staff is wonderful and the food is good at a reasonable rate. Will return soon!

Mount Nevis was a wonderful place to relax and retreat from the tribulations of life for a little while.
