Super 8 by Wyndham Monroe

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at ( Super 8 Motel). The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, making me feel so welcome. As someone with high standards for cleanliness, I was thrilled with how spotless and well-maintained the room was—truly impeccable! Everything about this hotel exceeded my expectations, and I can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!

Sunday, the breakfast bar was on point. Fresh food and stocked, clean tables, and the cook/s was very helpful and friendly. They talked with the guests and ask did we need anything to make the experience memorable and the food enjoyable.

I didn't like that fresh towels was only available after 12pm each day. My family takes a bath in the morning and night with fresh towels. Upon arrival to our room, we were greeted by a dead roach (water bug) in the floor by fridge and one crawling across the room. I did not see anymore after that, so it might could have been just a large waterbug. Saturday breakfast was a horrible due to Ms.Cotton having a nasty attitude with guests and refused to keep the breakfast bar up with food-fresh general. She done everything in her power to fill the waffle batter by stocking condiments that was not neccessarily needed at the time. She made coffee and other things that was not necessary needed at the time. She had the ugliest attitiude when ask to wipe off tables so guests can have a clean place to sit. Due to her attitude and mindset to keep bar serviced for guests, me and my family left the facility to grab breakfast from McDonald's.

Surprised it was well maintained, at least our room and it was clean. No carpeting which makes it easy to detect if a floor is dirty. The refrigerator and freezer work well. Will freeze water bottle about 4 . The King size bed 🛌 was comfortable and the sheets were clean. I like the wireless entry to the room which you enter from the outdoors (motel like setting). . Breakfast consists of coffee, honeybun as well as cold cereal and yougart and fruit. Very nice size T.V. in the rooms and Wi-Fi. The restroom was clean upgraded. It is nice to have a hair dryer that had a night light built in for trips to the bathroom at night if needed. Would definitely stay there again. The location is close to places to eat ad well as Walmart.

The sofa in the rooms could use a good deep cleaning or couch cover. Having a 50 dollar 💵 hold for room damages was surprising. I paid it cash rather then on credit. Upon checkout, it was refunded within 5 minutes due to no damage to the room. Only one ice machine near the front office.

Weekend trip and the room didn't smell good at all
