Drury Plaza Hotel Nashville Downtown

13 min walk to Honky Tonk Highway. Awesome location. Breakfast was delicious and a really nice atmosphere. Lively with people yet quiet hotel.

I can honestly say that I have never stayed at a place like The Drury. The Drury offers three drink tickets daily to each adult. Complementary happy hour food is not appetizers as you 'd expect but a full meal. The day we were there it was hot dogs, baked potatoes, salad, chili, nacho fixings and more. I was astounded. It did feel a little like eating at a dorm with so many people joining in but we canceled our dinner plans because we were so full after enjoying happy hour. The pool area looks fun, although we didn't use it. More attention to keeping the rest rooms near the pool clean would be helpful. Our room was not luxurious but it was clean and well stocked with bath supplies. Front desk staff were very cordial. I appreciated the self-park ramp so we could come and go as well liked. After a long trip, valet at other hotels became expensive and tedious, so having access to our car was great. Proximity to Broadway is good. Close enough to easily walk but far enough so it was not loud. I'm not sure this hotel is my cup of tea but I totally understand the appeal, and think it's a great place for families and those seeking value.

Parking at the property was great. Of course it’s a little hefty on price, however, it’s secure and convenient. Our room was clean and perfect for the two of us.

There is a little market in the lobby to purchase drinks/snacks and common pharmaceuticals that’s open 24hrs. However, on the 8th floor where the free amenities are located, the fountain drinks and juice should be complimentary 24hrs also considering the price point of the stay and parking.
