The village is lovely, we were able to find places to park fairly close to the apartment, we were happy to walk everywhere. Close to supermarket and bars and restaurants Beware the narrow, steep, cobbled streets. Superb location for walking or cycling (hills galore). Francisco was very welcoming and let us keep our bikes in the apartment, he even gave us some fruit from his garden. Nice to be able to make use of the balcony and Wifi at the main hostal. He also shared his knowledge of the area. Thank you Francisco. The one-bedroomed apartment had a washing machine, good fridge and a fan. There was heating and a good water boiler but in August we obviously didn't need them.

The location was OK but it was not at the address Booking.com had said it was. It was said to be in C.Vuelta a lovely area with great views down the valley in a traditional street and house. We were in Bubión to visit friends and had chosen this apartment as it was close to theirs. But our apartment was in a different area without the views and only had a Juliet balcony, nowhere to dry clothes. The kitchen facilities were basic, just 2 electric hobs, a microwave, no kettle (no problem - boil water in a saucepan). The toilet drainage was a little smelly but not too bad, and some air fresheners had been placed by it to mask the smell. 2 nights out of the 5, the neighbours who we think were residents were very noisy chatting outside the apartment in front of their houses until 02:30, and another night a group of youngsters arrived at 01:50 and sat chatting loudly for a while, until asked to lower their voices which (give them credit) they did, but their friends joined them for a while, then it was quiet after about 02:30. Obviously in Spain in the warm summer evenings it is normal to chat outside, and is out of the control of our host. Perhaps we were just unlucky. Regarding the apartment not being where Booking.com said it was, perhaps a lesson learnt, but maybe the wording needs to be altered if booking the one-bedroomed apartment.

Tout! Les hôtes très sympathiques et qui savent accueillir avec beaucoup de gentillesse. Le lieu, avec son jardin, enchanté, et avec une super vue sur les massifs montagneux, sans oublier Fito, le gentil perroquet qui siffle la Marseillaise! Un départ direct à pied ou en vélo pour faire de grandes balades. Et l'appartement, bien équipé: un très bon rapport qualité prix. Je recommande vivement !
