Lakeside Cabins & Holiday Village

Location was great, we had to drive a bit for getting the groceries or to get a bite in the night. The lady at the reception was quite friendly. The place was close to the beaches.

The toilet was not clean, it was quite visible on the very first glance, that was quite disappointing. The kitchen cookware were almost worn out, specially the non-stick ones, guess it is time to replace them.

The location is blissful. It is very relaxing. The hosts are lovely people. They were understanding and helped us out as much as they could.

It was great value for money. The facilities, amenities were all great. Overall, I didnt have anything that bothered me.

The cabins were located directly across from the lake and a couple of hundred meters from the local cafe which was nice. The cabin itself looked exactly like the pictures - it was clean and comfy, nicely painted walls, beautifully modern and clean bathroom with a lovely hot shower and the kitchen well stocked with utensils. We enjoyed lazing on the comfy couch at the end of the day. there was also a nice looking pool, unfortunately just way too cold to swim in winter. The beach was just around the corner.

The front door key was super fiddly, and I couldn’t get the front door to lock- had to lock the screen instead. Also, the cabins aren’t that well insulated and I froze both nights as the blankets were fairly basic- I would recommend bringing a doona or extra blanket if visiting in winter and you get cold easily. We also thought it would have been handy to have a little coffee table in the lounge room area. However none of these things would stop me staying again, as it was a great little spot.
