"Authentic sail ship"

It is a great experience having a stay at Loth Lorien. Authentic sail ship, very kind personnel on board. We booked the captain suite and we will do that again, next time we plan a stay at Loth Lorien.

"No-go for families"

The location and the boat deck + bar/restaurant is great. Close to everything and cozy to be on the water. But the rooms are downright horrible. They may work if you’re at sea and working on the boat, but for a family holiday with kids it’s a disaster. No room for luggage, no room for people, no beds with more than 20 cm to either the ceiling or the bed above you... Only a ventilation shaft for a window. 4m2 for four people 😬 Standing in the middle of the room I could touch all four walls and the ceiling. I know it’s a “working boat” but using it as a hotels requires some changes, we even paid extra compared to other hotels nearby - just to be on the water. Bad idea. However, if half the rooms where removed and the remaining where doubled or tripled in size, this would be a fantastic place. Great service from the Russian girl running everything though 👍

Das Schiff ist sehr gepflegt und wurde während unseres Aufenthaltes stets gewartet. Dies hat den Besuch aber nicht gestört! Die sanitären Anlagen sind alle sauber! Die Kabinen sind klein und hellhörig! Aber auch dies hat unser Abenteuer auf einem Segelschiff zu übernachten nicht negativ beeinträchtigt. Zum Glück liegt nebenan die JR Tolkien. Hier waren wir zum Frühstück. Die Verantwortliche (die Muddi) schafft eine tolle gastfreundliche Atmosphäre! Sie kümmert sich sehr um ALLE Gäste. Und deshalb kommen wir wieder!
