"Pooley Bridge Inn, worth a look !"

10.0

Welcoming and helpful staff, who were great with the kids too! We had an easy check in and booked our table for dinner then too. The room was comfortable and ideal for a family. Dinner was very good and again staff helpful and prompt. We are familar with the village & this Hotel and would stay again. Worth the 6 miles from the M6 for an overnighter or a longer stay.

"Lovely quaint Village Inn"

8.0

Lovely village. Busy Inn. We stayed one night. Check in was quick, staff were lovely. Quaint family loft room. It had everything we needed however there is no shower curtain and a little plaster was coming off the ceiling just above my daughters bed and due to the shape of the room, we couldn’t move the bed. It wasn’t too much of an issue for us and didn’t ruin our stay. We had an evening meal which was okay but my advise is to get there early or book in advance as it gets very busy. Breakfast was very nice offering both pastries and cooked breakfast.

"Good"

The height from the bath tub to the ceiling is only about 1.3 m that you can’t really have a shower there. The air circulation in the room is not enough with only one fan in the room, as you can only open the window with a narrow angle.

There was a bit of mix up on check in but after that all was good. Staff were helpful and friendly the rooms were clean and pleasant with an electric fan in to cope with the extreme heat.

"Night stay one our way from touring Ireland."

8.0

One nights stay on our way back home from touring Ireland. Nice hotel/Pub. It seems a very popular place as when we turned up on a Tuesday evening the place was heaving with people both eating and drinking. Anyway we checked in had a shower and got some food. The food was good the drinks were ok and there was also a good choice for breakfast the following morning so all in all a good choice of place to stay for us anyway. Oh and it's Dog friendly as well which is handy if your staying somewhere and want to go here to eat but have your dog with you.
