My friend and I stayed here in March 2025.The people were very friendly and breakfast was delicious.The room service was very attentive to every detail and made the experience very satisfying. They also took care of any problems we had during our trip. Thank you very much.

Laid back, comfortable, no fuss kind of place. Pretty building with fabulous rooftop terrace with views over Göreme. Staff friendly and helpful. Recommend booking balloon flights, trips through reception as the price was good. Breakfast was buffet style and there were a few nice options that were vegan friendly. The stand out was that the place was small and quiet enough that the staff knew their guests. Felt very welcome.

Nice quiet hotel in a good location in Goreme. Local area and trips were explained to us on arrival and they booked us a balloon ride (which you have to do!) and one of the organised trips and arranged pick up straight from the hotel. Clean and fuss free, would recommend. Also make sure you go up to the roof terrace one morning at sunrise to watch the balloons going up!

One of the best hotel around Cappadocia. Clean, nice and quiet environment with awesome rooftop views. Close to a lot of amenities and attractions . Nice staff and facilities. Walking distance to the best hot air balloon viewpoint.

The owner, omer, was super friendly and very accommodating. He helped our group book activities and made sure we had the best time in cappadocia. The hotel was very clean and the beds were super comfy. It was very close to the Main Street so it was easy to explore the city. The rooftop was also a perfect view of the sunrise & hot air balloons. If you have the opportunity to visit the beautiful city of Cappadocia, I highly recommend staying at this hotel. It’ll make your stay even better!

Visited with my daughter for a 3 night break. The staff at the Kookaburra are so friendly and helpful. They booked our sunrise balloon ride in advance of us arriving, advised us on places to visit and routes to take. The rooms are beautiful, so characterful, extremely clean and comfortable. The buffet Turkish breakfast is fresh and plentiful. The views from the seating areas are spectacular. The pension is within walking distance of the town, bit hilly, but that's the landscape. I have only positive things to say about the Kookaburra, and highly recommend staying there.

Good location and views from the hotel were amazing and Gaffur was very helpful. Amazing breakfast served by Maryam. I really enjoyed my stay. I will definitely choose Kookaburra Pension on my next visit.

The 4 days that we spend in Cappadocia were made much more delightful thanks to our stay at Kookaburra Pension. The rooms were cosy and the hotel is well located. Apart from that our hosts Omur and Millat were extremely gracious and helpful as they helped plan our trip for us and gave good advice on places to visit and activities to do. Always an added bonus when your hosts are as friendly and kind as that. Highly recommended
