"Home away from home"

Home away from home. Kate, the owner couldn't do enough for you and was an excellent host. The house is fabulous and the fresh cooked breakfast is excellent. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

I can't say enough good things about Hartley House! Kate treated us like long-lost family! We enjoyed her company, the comfortable sitting room with a peat fire, and the best breakfast of our whole trip. We had just arrived in Ireland and she was so generous with her time and information. I brought out my map and showed her our itinerary and she was really helpful with fine tuning it and pointing out some sights that weren't on our radar. This was the perfect place to start our trip!

"We were like Kates friends on a visit"

Kate was the most welcoming hostess I have ever met. She invites her guests into her magnificent home and treats them like her friends. She was an excellent hostess and the breakfast was delicious. Nothing was too much trouble for Kate to make her guests feel special

"A very pleasant stay."

We were so well looked after from the moment we walked in the door of this beautiful house. Kate is a brilliant hostess, nothing was too much trouble. The house has a great feeling and is so comfortable, the decor is tasteful and homely. Comfortable bedroom and quality bedding, good shower in the en-suite. Breakfast served in a beautiful dining room, seated normally with other guests ( although we were the only ones there at that time), great choice of cereal/ fruit/yoghurt etc and Irish breakfast, eggs etc all cooked to order, tasty and plentiful. The nicest stay of our four week tour.
