"Delightful country house with wonderful host."

Very comfortable quiet room. Host was so welcoming and helpful. Provided us with lots of local information, where to go and things to do. Peat fire in the evening made for a cozy lounge.

"Lovely weekend"

Had a lovely weekend with Kate, who was absolutely amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for her, and she went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The accommodation was spotless, and the breakfast was second to none. We would have no hesitation in staying there again and look forward to seeing her again in the future.

Hartley House is close to Carrick on Shannon in a lovely quiet area. Kate ,the owner, is really friendly and helpful, my room was lovely and Kate had the fire lit in the guests sitting room - just perfect! Great breakfast too in the morning. Definitely recommend Hartley House if you need a comfortable friendly place to stay near Carrick.

The B&B is out in the countryside so peaceful but close enough to Carrick-on-Shannon to drive for a meal and walk around the town. The hostess made us feel very welcomed and the breakfast was great.
