Holiday & House - Imparato Vacanze Prestige Mondello

The flat was lovely and well set up for a family of 5. Sig. Imparato kindly let us in on arrival and the fridge was stacked up with drinks and milk for us. Coffee and biscuits were offered too so we didn’t have to go out and buy breakfast items. We had a lovely supermarket nearby too which was fantastic . Thank you Sig. Imparato we had such a lovely time !

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the “IMPARATO VACANZE PRESTIGE MONDELLO” holiday home, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The apartment is perfectly located right in front of the Mondello marina and just a few steps from the historic square, making it incredibly convenient. The accommodation itself is beautifully furnished and meticulously maintained. But what truly made our stay special was the host’s incredible hospitality. We were welcomed with such warmth and friendliness. The host went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Overall, staying at “IMPARATO VACANZE PRESTIGE MONDELLO” felt like coming home. The warm and welcoming atmosphere, combined with the superb location and excellent facilities, made our vacation truly unforgettable. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay in Mondello.

The owner is a very polite person.

We were extremely disappointed by the bad smell of old and worn furniture. The property is dark, small, extremely dirty in every aspect. The kitchen could not be really used because of the dirt. But the worst of all was the bathroom: unbelievable mold, never cleaned, but covered with transparent silicone, then another layer of dirt and mold. Rusty shower and taps. The windows of the property oversees a small street covered in trash. (trash is all over in Mondello and Palermo) There are some restaurants very close not having proper chimneys so all smells come in, windows cannot be kept open. The landscape is deplorable. We asked the owner to do something regarding the cleaning. The rust was a bit sandpapered, but the mold remained. We had the worst experience ever, it ruined our Sicily tour. Altough the owner was very polite and sent the cleaning lady to try something, nothing changed. Leaving the place was a releaf. The worst spent money in our lives, we felt robbed. Later edit: Be aware of false advertising! The property is not beachfront, there is no sea view, actually there is no view at all, every window is facing the wall of the building standing at no more than 5-6 meters distance. In between the buildings there is the dirty street depicted in the photos. Also there is no legal free parking.

Host/Service: Sergio, the host, was absolutely impeccable. He met me and my friend at the airport and dropped us to the apartment. He also collected and dropped my sister as she arrived later on the day we checked in. Sergio was great at communication prior and during my stay. He made sure my friends and I had everything we needed for our stay. He also dropped us back to the airport on our last day. The apartment: It had ample space. The apartment we stayed at had 2 large double-bedrooms with one bedroom having a sofa bed. The main living area also had a couch and a sofa bed. There was 1 bathroom which included a washing machine if you decide to stay for longer than 1 week or only packed lightly. The apartment had a large balcony. Facilities: It had most things you can think of from hairdryer to beach umbrella. Clean towels were also provided. Free wifi was included. Sergio also left a few bottles of drinking water, coca-cola, orange juice and other snacks. All the rooms also had air-conditioning which is important for the summer months. Location: Top notch location. 10-second walk to Mondello beach. Close to the pharmacy, small shops and supermarket. Close to all the beach restaurants and cafe. The apartment is accesible by train and bus or easier to book a taxi from the airport - takes around 20-30 minutes (between 40-50 euros each way).

A new hair dryer is required. Or if you have long thick hair like mine, I suggest just bringing your own.

The Host is the Best. The location is great. The house is fully equipped.
