No any receptionist available there welcome me for arrival

It was very nice and clean, the host is very responsive and went above and beyond. The place is well located, the ocean is 3 min walk, there is a nice vegan cafe 2 mins away and a massage salon right behind it. The rate is very generous for the quality and location. I met a charming mini pig pet there, she enjoys when you try to pet her, so sweet

Sometimes wifi was a bit slower for video conferences

I wouldn't recommend staying here. There was nobody at reception for us to check in, we had to go down the road to another hostel for her to contact the owner. But this other owner showed us to our room. When you select 'budget double villa' all the pictures of their villa's come up as the room but we never looked at the last 3 pictures, which was the room we got (the pictures leave out the rusty old sink too). And no privacy with the bathroom. The modern style villas are taken for 'long stays' so this seems to be the only villa available, most of the time. We had so many geckos in the villa, we had to keep the lights off from dusk. Then we had a huge gecko in our room making such loud noises and pooped on the floor from the rafters. No communication from the owner. Woken up at 4am by a nest of birds above the villa. We're not picky people but there was so much holes for animals to get in & out, with absolute zero soundproofing. AND we had good earplugs in!!! We were supposed to stay for 4 nights, we left after 1.

The location is great, and room is spacious. The staff are friendly :)
