T Hotel Ryuoo

とても綺麗で、快適に過ごせました。

The room are very nice, great space and 2 full bathrooms Best in the area.

Rooms are pleasant enough - nothing fancy and a little "dated" but have all the basics and a good size. Walls were a little thin so we could here our neighbours at times. The bathroom was freezing (we visited in winter), but it was at least clean, modern and had a great hot shower. Also we got ice inside our windows, so had to keep the blinds down throughout the day to help keep the heat in.,

Food was pretty bad - dinner especially. Very basic menu, and all the items we had were pretty bland and tasteless. Also tended to fill the plate with cheapy pasta / noodles / rice, but a scraping of meat. Prices weren't exorbitant but expensive given the low quality and lack of protein / veg / tasty stuff served. Breakfast was better, though very few Western options (if that's your preference).

Location is further from main Shiga kogen area but you have varios smaller resorts closer including right on the slopes of Ryou ski resort.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Convenient for ski lovers. It would be perfect if the breakfast had a bit more variety.

In general the hotel is clean and staff are very friendly.

It’s a pity there is not big bath room inside the hotel.
